DASS-X was created based on practical experience gained during BASF's Catena-X implementation journey. What started as an internal solution evolved into a standalone company that helps organizations across industries connect, collaborate and exchange data efficiently.
What began as BASF's own answer to that complexity became a product the whole industry needed. In 2025 it became DASS·X (Data Space Solutions GmbH) - a wholly-owned BASF subsidiary, free to serve every OEM and supplier while keeping the domain depth and backing of a global enterprise.
